Having been a Schueler Group Benefits client since 2007 before joining the team, Alex offers a unique client-first perspective and is passionate about helping organizations protect their people and plan for the future.
Originally from Winnipeg and raised in Mississauga, Alex has called Kelowna home since 2005. Throughout his career, he has successfully owned and managed businesses across a variety of industries, including retirement living, television production, and technology. This diverse experience allows him to provide practical, tailored advice to business owners navigating complex insurance and benefits decisions.

A dedicated community leader, Alex has served as President of the Kelowna chapter of Junior Chamber International, was a founding member of the Valhalla Angels, and has supported entrepreneurs as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence with UBC’s Entrepreneurship@UBCO program. He has also been recognized as Kelowna’s top fundraiser for both Movember and Motionball in support of Special Olympics.
